What to write about?
Generally speaking I am a positive person. Occasionally a little depressed. Okay I've been on antidepressants since 1983. Everytime I try to get off of them I feel like crying a lot of the time. So I continue to take them.

Generally speaking
A new venture for me. I am not the world's best letter writer or blogger, but I like the concept.
I am a 61 year old woman who lives in Western Washington. I am third generation Washington State born. My maternal Grandmother was born in Pacific County the year Washington became a State ( That's 1889 for you non-Washingtonians).
My mother and I were also born in Pacific County Washington. I have lived in Washington almost all my life except for a couple of years in the Portland Oregon area. I enjoy it here. My children have moved around. My daughters live in West Michigan, and San Antonio Texas. My son lives in Western Washington also. I have 5 step kids. 3 live within 10 miles of us, one in Utah and one in Montana. Together we have 38 grandkids and 6 great grandkids.
I am a Registered Nurse and work 8 hr Evening shifts on a Cancer unit in a local hospital. It can be tough but I love it. I also work parttime as a Nursing Supervisor, 12 Hr night shifts, at the same hospital.
Enough for a first post. I will try to post once or twice a week, but as I said before I am NOT a letter writer, and blogging is much the smae.
